Job interview

Going to a job interview involves more than just turning up, answering a few questions and then hoping that you get the job at the end of it. You need to ensure that you have done plenty of preparation beforehand so that you can show your future employer that you have thought about the job in hand and that you are committed. In these days of recession, there are more and more applicants applying for each job and you need to ensure that you have an edge over them.
If you are new to the interview process, particularly if you are nervous, your preparation beforehand is all the more important. It is worthwhile asking a friend or family member to give you a trial interview, so that you have an idea how you will be feeling on the day. Body language and the way you dress is also important; hunching in your chair and looking scruffy is not going to leave a good impression. Work on your interview skills and don't take rejection to heart, then you will eventually get the job you're hoping for.
